A classic karam podi (కారం పొడి) made with roasted dals (పప్పు) — senaga pappu (chana dal), kandi pappu (toor dal / కందిపప్పు) — with jeelakarra (cumin), miriyalu (pepper), chintapandu (tamarind) and spices. The kind that sits on every South Indian tiffin (టిఫిన్) table.

How to Use

Sprinkle on idli (ఇడ్లీ) or dosa (దోస) with a drizzle of neyyi (ghee). Mix into annam (rice) with ghee for a quick lunch. Also good on uttapam and pesarattu.
